Rev. James Richardson heads this ministry with the goal of extending the love and compassion of Jesus Christ in a tangible way to those who are confined to convalescent facilities, hospitals, and their own homes. Rev. Richardson and his staff does this by simply holding a hand, giving a hug, listening, and spending time in prayer and fellowship. This vital ministry of Zion Christian Church brings God's love through worship, the word, prayer, holy communion, and fellowship.

Specifically, our elder care ministry ministers to those who are unable to attend church.

Rev. Richardson and his staff are always looking for more help with this ministry. Indeed, the harvest is plentious, but, the laborers are few.
